In my case, the gamedata for TF2Attributes had to be updated.
I updated both Source Mod and TF2Attributes and it works fine, I can create servers and people can join them.
When the extension was finally finished we considered it a temporary fix since it isn't very maintainable.
Looking forward we want to phase out/remove Weapon ID's for CS: GO and switch to item definition indexes.
CS: GO code on launch had much of the same code as CS: S making it really easy to port the cstrike extension over to CS: GO and make plugins for one work for both for the most part but this has changed heavily over the years as they strip old code out.
What happened in the last update is they moved away from weaponids and removed item script files and merged everything into items.games.
If you are using srcds forks and need multiple sourcemod installations, you have to set this.
Hello, So as you may have noticed in the last CS: GO update it took us much longer to fix Source Mod than normal so I'll give a brief view of what happened.aptitude install lynx wget findutils rsync wget https://github.com/bcserv/sourcemod-updater/archive/-O unzip mv sourcemod-updater-master sourcemod-updater Updates or installs the latest Sourcemod STABLE snapshot.Updates or installs the latest Sourcemod DEV snapshot. CAUTION: this will overwrite any existing sourcemod files. This affects the situation when no package URL was found or the security check before continuing the update Reads the owner and the group of the game directory of the srcds after the update and applies them recursively to the sourcemod files. On the note of bug fixes, after weighing the pros and cons, we've decided to switch to Git Hub Issues moving forward for future bug reports and feature requests for Source Mod.While this requires users to have a Git Hub account to report an issue, many didn't know that the previous bug tracker existed, let alone that they could log in with their forum credentials. In doing so they removed functions SM used or are no longer used in the same way (or inlined on windows).
