However, there's one thing that has reminded me of why I wasn't super into it in the first place....people who purposely wait like a few days to email you back.
Now I don't have high expectations, I try to be flexible, but one thing that annoys me is this site tells you if your email you sent has been read by the recipient.

Call me picky, call me impatient, but I'm worth more than a delayed 4 day response, and I won't make someone become interested in me.
If they're not showing a high level of interest, then it's time to move on.
*no* hopes/expectations is the way to look at things. the nice thing about online dating is its easy to have multiple things going on at once.
no use in trying to reason out why shes taking long. I agree, I do use the no expectations approach, and I don't have any, I'm just saying it's annoying and stupid and I'd rather just not deal with it personally, that's my preference.
I've had enough bad experiences to read red flags, and I'm think of just shutting the door on this girl, despite my high interest and what I "think" is a good conneciton. Would it be a bad move to just ignore/block her and move on?
I think it's cool she take a couple of days to think about what she wants to say to you. Maybe you would feel different about what you may write 2 days get much interest or think there is a good connection before youve met in person.
Sarah The speed of someone’s response will depend on their online dating site habits and their level of interest in a match.
